A very rare 20 million euro Pagani Zonda Barchetta crashed

For a few hours, a owner of Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta is going through a particularly difficult period after its very rare 20 million euro supercar was involved in an unfortunate car accident. In the video, which we report below, the Pagani (1 of 3) was traveling along a city road at moderate speed until, perhaps for a skid or a badly taken footprint hit a Ford Fiesta in the other direction of travel.

THE damage to the driver’s side looks pretty substantial. The rear wheel was torn away, damaging the expensive carbon fiber body, rear facia, and what appear to be exhaust components. The front also did not come out unscathed. The impact appears to have ruined the front wheel, while the side panel was ripped in the impact. The Fiesta certainly suffered the brunt of the accident, with theactivation of the airbags of the driver and passenger. Fortunately, no one was injured, but there is only material damage.

According to the Croatian publication Vercernij, the incident occurred on Friday evening. Pagani was part of a 60 car event known as Supercar Owners Circle Croatia 2022. The rally caused a stir in the capital Zagreb where, moments before the accident, the Pagani and many other exotic supercars stunned the spectators present.

Even if the pilot was not accelerating, the HP Barchetta is a difficult machine to drive. For those not in the know, under the hood they are present 789 horses that are sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. A vehicle definitely not for everyone. At the moment there are no more specific details on the damage reported but given the extent of the car, it is feared that the bill could be stellar and exceed, even by far, the value of the unfortunate Ford Fiesta.
