Ferrari Purosangue, the Prancing Horse SUV will debut on 13 September

Ferrari Thoroughbred, we are almost there. The Prancing Horse’s first SUV will debut next September 13th. The announcement comes with a teaser shared by the automaker. Inside the very dark image you can see the date of September 13 and the hashtag #FerrariPurosangue. Photos that we have lightened with Photoshop to better see the references to the new SUV from Maranello.

Duque, next week we will finally be able to discover all the secrets of this highly anticipated model.

Of the first SUV of the Prancing Horse we already know a lot thanks to spy photos, reports and information shared directly by Ferrari. Some had been shared on the web in the past shots even coming from inside the Maranello factory. From a design point of view, it seems that the car will have several aesthetic references to models like the Ferrari Roma and the Ferrari SF90. The front should be characterized by the presence of optical groups with a very thin design. Also, looking at previous images, the hood appeared to have muscular shapes, while the front bumper should feature two large air intakes.

We already know that the Purosangue will have a naturally aspirated V12 engine not electrified. According to what Ferrari had said in the past, additional engines had been evaluated but then we preferred performance and driving experience. It is not clear, however, whether the SUV will subsequently also be offered with additional engines. There is no precise information on the power level of the V12, but it is reasonable to expect powers around 800 hp.

The SUV, or rather the FUV (Ferrari Utility Vehicle) as the Prancing Horse calls it, will allow the car manufacturer to enter a segment in which she had never been present. Despite being an SUV, Ferrari has repeatedly stressed that this new model will offer the classic driving pleasure that has always distinguished all its cars.

The first deliveries of the Purosangue are expected in 2023. At this point all that remains is to have just a little more patience to discover all the features of this new car.
