Marco Zucchi died at the age of 51

Killed by a terrible disease, at only 51 years old. This is the tragic fate of Marco Zucchi: he died in recent days, after having fought against a bad disease. A sneaky enemy faced without ever losing his smile and hope, but which – unfortunately – he was unable to defeat despite the strenuous struggle. His conditions have plummeted in recent days and the efforts of the doctors have not been worth it.

Loving husband and caring father, this is how he is described by friends and by the many people who have gathered around his wife and three young children in these hours. The news of his untimely death spread rapidly not only in San Gervasio Bresciano, a town where the man lived with his family, but in numerous communities in the Bassa. Passionate about football, he had collaborated – as a masseur and physiotherapist – with many teams in our province and beyond. Many companies – from Gsd Pralboino, passing through Verolese 1911 – who have remembered him with a post on social media.

The memory of the companies with which he collaborated

From 2014 to 2016 Zucchi had been masseur of the first team of Ac Crema 1908 – which plays in Serie D – who remembered him as follows on Facebook:

“Marco left a positive and indelible memory thanks to his attentive and expert professionalism, his loyal and helpful temperament, his sympathy and passion for the sport that we all love. The whole nerobianca family made up of players and young women and from the young people of the youth sector, the coaches, the managers, the fans, the president Enrico Zucchi and the members of the board of directors, he gathers around Marco’s loved ones starting with his wife and three children. our closeness with great sadness, but also with the awareness of having had the good fortune to meet Marco, a man and a professional of immense value that we will always carry in our hearts “.

Dozens of people are expected for the funeral which will be celebrated at 4 pm on Wednesday 7 September in the parish church of San Gervasio Bresciano.
