SICILIAN PESTO ready in 5 minutes: the original and complete recipe

Ingredients for Sicilian pesto or Trapani pesto

  • 10 leaves of basil
  • 500 gr of tomatoes (coppery)
  • 150 gr of ricotta cheese
  • 100 gr of parmesan (grated)
  • 150 ml of extra virgin olive oil
  • 50 g of pine nuts
  • 50 grams of almonds
  • 1 clove of garlic red
  • 1 pinch of salt


Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes, then wash the basil leaves and put them in the mixer. Add ricotta, parmesan, pine nuts, almonds, red garlic, salt, olive oil and mix everything.
