An Italian first case of Covid-19 coinfection, monkey pox and HIV
The curious case, the first ever reported in the literature, involved a 36-year-old Sicilian man, fresh from a stay in Madrid in the days between 16 and 20 June. It was described by researchers from the University and Polyclinic Rodolico – San Marco of Catania, together with colleagues from the Polyclinic Giaccone in Palermo, in an article that appeared in the scientific journal “Journal of Infection”
