AC Milan is pleased to confirm that it has reached an agreement with the regional sports network Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network (YES Network), based in New York City. Through this agreement, YES Network will broadcast several hours of AC Milan content weekly, thus bringing the Italian Champions even closer to their American fans.
Each episode will consist of a magazine style format and a complete replica of the last match played by AC Milan. The magazine section will be a mix of contents ‘off the pitch’related to the first team and full of interviews with the protagonists, archive images, highlights dedicated to the women’s team and youth teams and other special contents.
This new agreement will allow AC Milan to strengthen its presence in the USA, a market of strategic importance for the Club and characterized by the presence of a large Rossoneri fanbase, as demonstrated by the recent study carried out recently by the international market research and analysis agency. The agreement between AC Milan and YES Network comes after the announcement of the acquisition of the Campioni d’Italia by RedBird Capital Partners and after Yankee Global Enterprises, owner of the New York Yankees, joined AC Milan in a strategic partnership by purchasing a minority stake in the Club’s shares.
